Military Service & Leadership

I am a retired United States Air Force officer. My service sharpened my analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership experience. I now apply those strengths to political analysis and commentary.

• Officer Training School (Distinguished Graduate) - Officer Training School is the commissioning program at Maxwell Air Force Base. It lasts about eight weeks and teaches Air Force customs, leadership, field exercises, academics, drill, combatives, and team development.
• Squadron Officer School - This is a five to six-week professional military education course at Maxwell AFB. It emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, multi-domain warfare, communication, and ethical reasoning.
• Logistics Readiness Officer (AFSC 21R) - Logistics Readiness Officers manage supply, fuel, transportation, deployment, and logistics planning. They lead unit-level operations in logistics squadrons and coordinate with the Joint Staff and other agencies.
