Late...but worth the wait

This week from the

Paradox Gaming Network

Usually I try to have this up early on Sunday, however, given it was Siege Sunday, plus I was putting together 3 other videos today, this sorta slipped.  The good news is the video version of this is done and up as my weekly Paradoxical Impressions, so I’m making strides in the right direction.   Anyway, let's get on with it.

Trion, Trion, Trion….. Trion.    Sounds vaguely familiar.  Apparently just repeating a phrase over and over is supposed to be some sort of meaningful conversation from the Trion Team to the community.  At least according to Celestrata it is.

From last week’s Trion Worlds official live stream, came a video clip of a very condescending nature from the Associate Producer.  Had Niver not already done it, I most certainly would have.   Check out the video clip he put together here

As I talk about in my Paradoxical Impressions, this is just unacceptable.  Totally and completely unacceptable.   I won’t go into any other detail here, if you want to know how I really feel about it, check this week's episode on YouTube or here on the webpage.

In other Archeage News, at least we had a good castle err Zerg fight in Archecraft.   I mean Starage.  Damn it Archeage.   So many reds running around today it like we were back on Salphira during the days of the BRA.  All tongue and cheek aside, it was a good fight for lopsided numbers.

Finally, an AA101 video did go out this week.   It as on the Yateo.  Honestly, one of the best quests they've ever done in Archeage.   It was so tricky I had to actually sit down and think that one through.

Ashes of Creation

Nothing new to report this week.   As always, with a game in development there will be weeks without news.   This is one of those weeks.   If you have any questions about the game, want to know more, get in touch with me, I will do all I can to answer your question.

If you haven’t registered for Ashes of Creation yet and you want to help support the Paradox Gaming Network, follow this link and register for Ashes which will help the Paradox Gaming Network.  Here’s how:

We currently have 82 people who have decided to support us via this method and we have at least $126 in Intrepid Bucks that we will end up cashing out and raffling off/giving away to players.  If you are one of my referrals then 15% of all the money you spend on the game (from your monthly sub to cosmetic purchases, etc) will be paid out to Paradox.  The money from these purchases will stay under the umbrella for Ashes and not used for other games.  So basically, if you are new to Ashes and haven’t registered you have absolutely nothing to lose from using my referral link.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

I needed a little breather from Archeage, so I went back to some old familiar stomping grounds.   Who doesn’t like being a Dark Lord of the Sith and feeding people to a Dashade?   If you haven’t played SWTOR you should, it's a good game just to run through the storyline.   I also talk about some other exciting Star Wars video game news during Paradoxical Impressions.  What?   Tell you?  No.  Go watch the show.

If you do check it out, you can without a doubt find someone to give you a referral code (they spam it in chat often) which will get you a week's free subscription, so totally worth it if you want to have a week long long affair with a side game.

This week also saw me doing a video on a FPS game called Ironsight.  Now, I am utterly terrible at FPS games usually, but this one I’m not doing too horrible in.  Yes, I’m usually the dead weight my team has to carry, but I do on occasion do something useful like disarm C-4 or get a random WTF how did Jahlon do that Triple kill.  I have a video on Ironsight out, so check it out if you are a fan of FPS games.

Now onto the Paradox Gaming Network Stuff

5 Apex Giveaway

The Paradox Gaming Network is giving away 5 Apex in Archeage.  To register visit our Google Form at

The contest will run through the end of the month, closing on 28 February.   Given the nature of the contest will need a few days to put the drawing together and the winners will be announced on 3 March.

Delivery will commence after 3 March, however, Jahlon and the Paradox Gaming Network reserves the right to take up to 90 days to make final delivery.   This is due to having to create characters on servers, level them, and then delivery

Check us out on Fridays at 1000 Pacific, 1300 Eastern and 1800 GMT at

Patreon Site - The public disclaimer stuff

After the Apex are accounted for, the current Patreon Wallet is sitting at $28.00.   This is going to be held in reserve until our next goal of paying for all the legal stuff to turn Paradox into a LLC.

If you want to check out the Paradox Gaming Network Patreon site you can follow this link or you can click on the Patreon Button on the bottom of the webpage.

Supporting for the Paradox Gaming Network - Rehashed

There are already a ton of people supporting the Paradox Gaming Network, and to each and everyone one of you I am thankful.  I’ve already started one goal I had and that was the 5 Apex giveaway.   The next step is turning Paradox into a LLC in order to allow me to operate a business.   From there, I have a roadmap of what I want to be able to do for the future.   To get there is going to take some investment money, which I could afford to put down on my own; however, if I can’t raise the money to turn my hobby into a business, then it becomes a pretty clear indication that it's too soon to pursue this course of action.

There are a ton of way to support the Paradox Gaming Network.   First and foremost, I want to thank my Patreon supports, who provide straight monthly donations.   That is immensely helpful and provides money right to the bottom line.  I would never ask for straight donations though, these are just people who have decided to offer me direct support.

Other ways to support Paradox are from helping get the word out about the YouTube videos.  Liking the videos, sharing them to friends, helping to get them out to the community; all these things help generate exposure for the videos and in turn that exposure generates ad revenue.

Next, is Humble Bundle.  Have you heard of humble bundle? Do you like having a large collection of high dollar video games for a low price?   Well check out this link  Not only does this organization help charity, but it also helps the Paradox Gaming Network, which is really my core mission, bringing options to people.  This month’s Humble Bundle is Dark Souls III and the Ashes of Ariandel DLC for the low price of $12 instead of the Steam Price of $74.98.   That’s a pretty good deal.

Finally, if you already have Amazon Prime then you also have a Free Twitch Prime account which is pretty cool.   If you didn’t know this you can get free stuff from being a Twitch Prime subscriber.   Free Twitch Games (some of them are pretty decent) and free stuff for the games you already play (Heartstone, Heroes of the Storm, Call of Duty WWII, Trove and others).  Plus, this gives you the ability to give one free Twitch sub a month, which helps your favorite streamer make $2.49.   That’s a pretty good deal since it costs you absolutely nothing to help a streamer make a little bit of cash.  Doesn’t seem like a lot, but all these little things do add up.

LLC or Bust

Right now across all mediums I’m at about $155 of the roughly $900 it's going to take for the legal paperwork.  That’s not bad considering I just took $50 off the the top for Apex.
